          Brief Autobiography

As far back as I can remember, my life has been inundated with the process of design and construction. Growing up on the construction sites of my father’s home building business most likely ignited my passion for architecture. As I grew older, the will to create was always present. At age twelve I started construction on a scale model of a wooden roller coaster made from toothpicks. In what can only be described as a tangent running wild, the model roller coaster began to incessantly amplify in scale. Three summers, and thousands of toothpicks later, I was on a small stepstool, placing the final tracks on my 7 foot tall coaster.

Many years have passed since the early days of growing up on construction sites and building crude toothpick models.  I have had the opportunity to refine my skills through the Bachelor of Science Program at Kent State University’s College of Architecture and Environmental Design. The past 4 years of education I have received are priceless. The program has provided for many unique experiences, such as studying abroad in Italy, which has been indescribably enriching. The world of architecture is a continual process of discovery and development, I look forward to continuing my understanding and appreciating the accomplishments of our predecessors.
