hey kids-

just wanted to take a minute to wish you all a very merry christmas!  the past year has brought alot of great things for me.  with videos, working on a new record and a bit of touring, '07 has MUSICALLY been great, but life has taken an even sweeter turn for me in meeting my fiance lauren. she has changed my life.  lauren and i have had alot of dialogue about who we are, what we want to see happen with us AND in the world and we believe as we're figuring life out, god is helping us see what needs to be done.  in this christmas season we wanted to pass along a quick link to you about a movement called the advent conspiracy.  simply, this christian movement encourages everyone to compassion, not consumption, which i hope people of ALL faiths and beliefs can sink their teeth into.  instead of being caught in the throws of a consumerist culture that thrives off this season,  we are encouraged to be more intentional with how we spend our money, our energy and our time.  let this christmas be one where family, relationship and love can take the place of stress, budgeting and worry.  please take a peak at the link below, these people really have a good thing going.  merry christmas everybody!
